Energy surcharge and road toll
GLS Denmark charges an energy surcharge as oil and elecitricity prices are of great importance for transport prices and thus also for the cost of parcel distribution.
Information on the energy surcharges are presented separately and transparently in GLS' invoices.
Energy surcharge
The energy surcharge is adjusted each month based on the last months oil and electricity prices. The lower limit for the energy surcharge on national parcels is 13.7%, international parcels 23.7% and other services 14.7%.
