GLS France has expanded its Neighbour relay Delivery service to the city centres of Lyon, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
GLS France has chosen to join forces with the startup Pickme to develop a brand new solution of parcel collection points at the homes of trusted private individuals, the Neighbour-Relay!
This new delivery alternative has been already available since mid-November, for all your GLS deliveries in Paris. You now have the possibility to choose the nearest Pickme Neighbour-Relay from the Pickme network, from the list of our available GLS Relays in Paris, Ile de France, Lyon, Bordeaux and Toulouse. More cities will be served in the coming months.
The benefits of this new solution are numerous, and in particular:
- Increase the number of alternative delivery points near you: with this new Neighbour-Relay offer, collection points are multiplied compared to the traditional relay network at your retailers.
- Facilitate the reception of your parcels with a new collection solution that combines availability and user-friendliness: with extended reception times that are more flexible than at a relay retailer, our Neighbour-Relay will welcome you directly to their homes according to the availability indicated when you register.
- Improving the rate of successful delivery from the first delivery and reducing the ecological impact of re-deliveries: your parcel is now delivered to your Neighbour-Relay on its first attempt at delivery. No more need to plan a new delivery or to organize to collect your parcel from a relay too far from your home; more practical for you, but also much more environmentally friendly!
As soon as you receive the parcel, you will receive a message informing you of its delivery, as well as a PIN code allowing you to collect it from the Neighbour-Relay Centre of your choice.
